Our Tasting Room
Home of 'Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights', our Tasting Room is located on Steiner Road - Amador's First Wine Trail - approximately ten minutes outside of downtown Plymouth and an hour east of Sacramento.
Our tasting room is dug into the hillside underneath a rustic and historic barn. We cannot wait to welcome you to taste our wines in Amador County's first wine cave.
Meaning 'good earth' in Croatian, Dobra Zemlja (Doh-bra Zem-ya) produces hearty, unfiltered, and unfined wines that are made using the native yeast. It is all about letting the grape make the wine.
There is a $10.00 tasting fee per person which is waived with individual wine purchase for groups less than eight. Walk-ins are welcome for groups less than eight. Reservations are highly recommended for groups of eight or more.
Dobra Zemlja's club members and their guests are entitled to complimentary wine tasting. Club member must be present and reservations are required for groups of eight or more.

Tasting Room Hours
11:00am to 5:00pm daily (Mar to Oct), and 11:00am to 4:30pm daily (Nov to Feb) including most major holidays.
Closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
