Our Tasting Room
Home of 'Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights', our Tasting Room is located on Steiner Road - Amador's First Wine Trail - approximately ten minutes outside of downtown Plymouth and an hour east of Sacramento.
Our tasting room is dug into the hillside underneath a rustic and historic barn. We cannot wait to welcome you to taste our wines in Amador County's first wine cave.
Meaning 'good earth' in Croatian, Dobra Zemlja (Doh-bra Zem-ya) produces hearty, unfiltered, and unfined wines that are made using the native yeast. It is all about letting the grape make the wine.
There is a $10.00 tasting fee per person which is waived with individual wine purchase for groups less than eight. Walk-ins are welcome for groups less than eight. Reservations and prepayment of a non-refundable $10.00 tasting fee per person are required for groups of eight or more.
Dobra Zemlja's club members and their guests are entitled to complimentary wine tasting. Club member must be present and reservations are required for groups of eight or more.
For questions regarding your upcoming visit or to make a reservation, please contact the winery at either (209) 245-3183 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
