The Amador Vintners Association is thrilled to host the highly anticipated return of the 11th Annual Barbera Festival to the historic Terra d’Oro Barrel Room on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

The Barbera Festival promises an evening filled with unparalleled wine experiences, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Sierra foothills. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in a grand tasting featuring Barbera wines from over 40 renowned wineries across California.

Nestled in the heart of the Gold Country, Amador County boasts some of the oldest Barbera plantings, with Terra d’Oro Winery standing as a testament to this rich heritage. Festival-goers will have the chance to taste these exceptional wines in the charming indoor barrel room, adding to the allure of this year’s event.

In addition to the grand tasting, guests can expect a culinary journey with gourmet food offerings, delectable appetizers, and live music to set the mood. The festivities will also include a 360 photo booth for capturing cherished memories and an immersive in Sacred Fire Dance LED light show to add to the ambiance.

The Barbera Festival celebrates the enduring popularity of the Italian wine grape varietal, Barbera, which has found a home and thriving community of enthusiasts in the Gold Country. This year's event promises to showcase the best of Barbera, highlighting its unique flavors and character.

Join us on Saturday, August 10th, from 12pm to 3pm (or until the menu sells out) for our Second Saturday Lunch Club for a delicious menu of BBQ Brisket, Calico Salad (corn, black beans, bell peppers, onions, and dressing), and Shannon's famous macaroni and cheese. Yum, we can't wait! Wine will be available by the glass or bottle to enjoy out on our scenic picnic grounds.

$10 for club members per plate and $15 per person for non-club members per plate. Reservations are not required, although they are recommended for groups of eight or more.
